At a young age, Chad developed a passion for golf. After graduating High School in upstate New York, Chad and his family moved to Irmo so his family could be closer as he pursued his studies at Coastal Carolina University in Professional Golf Management. Chad ultimately decided to become a Gamecock and graduated from USC in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. Since graduating college, he has moved up the ranks with an insurance company in data analytics. He’s also a 2017 James E. Clyburn Fellow. Chad’s other passion is with pets, in particular, rescue animals. He currently has two rescue dogs that he adores spending time with. In 2012 a gun tragedy hit close to home with the loss of his mother but he’s used that as motivation to get involved into politics and make a positive difference.
